2005 vs. 2025

Happy New Year everyone, I know it's a bit late and a lot has happened. I'm no longer cutting meat (I worked in a meat department) in order to pursue college once again. When I started cutting meat, I was working with a guy who I got along with quite well. Then one day he decided to just leave and another guy came in. This new guy and I never saw eye to eye for various reasons, he was incredibly bossy and rude despite me knowing and working at the place longer than him. I had to do everything he didn't want to do (he did just the cutting, which is quite therapeutic but is only 1/10th of the entire job) for less pay effectively, an unfortunate circumstance for many autists out there, and I finally decided to let him deal with it himself. I've since distrohopped some more before I slapped myself out of it to stay on openSUSE. There's nothing quite like openSUSE and absolutely no reason to swap away from it.

Anyway, I want to spend some time observing a difference between the year 2005 and 2025. I cannot believe we are 20 years from 2005. In 2005 I had just started kindergarten and I had no worry in the world, so maybe my view is a bit distorted from reality, but there is a lot of empirical data suggesting that my observations are true. In 2005 the internet was only accessible to those with a desktop computer. In 2005 you could go into a CompUSA and exchange with likeminded PC enthusiasts or if you were in college you could join the LUG (Linux Users Group). In 2005 we somehow managed to have raging neoconservatives in control of the government and not have any reason to be worried about it, because for instance gas in rural places like here was less than $2, I even heard of it being 99 cents at one point.

Contrast that with 2025. In 2025 everybody has access to the internet, and not the internet you or I grew up with, but a locked down ecosystem of social media applications that influence how people think. In 2025 you can't go into a single social hub in person and find people as enthusiastic about narrow slivers of topics as those with autism. In 2025 you can't avoid politics anymore because it's a matter of whether or not you have common sense, which is whether or not we allow transgender men to compete in women's sports or secure our nation's borders. Whether Bill Clinton or George W. Bush or anyone before them were good leaders or not doesn't matter, they at least understood these fundamentals because typically people want borders, cheaper costs of living, etc. right? Not in today's world. In 2025 if you act quirky you're now autistic, so the high school jock or cheerleader is effectively the same person as the D&D expert or rocket scientist. There is a conserted effort to replace all avenues for autistic people with what I once called vampires, an analogy of neurotypical people.

If you don't believe me, go find your run-of-the-mill male-to-female transgender person online. Nine times out of ten they have autistic interests. If you are autistic you will understand what this means, but for anybody else typically this means they have some kind of niche interest (such as in a specific video game or video game series, an interest in computers, etc.) This is because they are autistic people who have fallen into one of many traps set up to capture the neurodivergent and prevent them from resisting the status quo of anti-common sense. If you were to ever get to the point of actually thinking you're no longer a man when you are in fact a man, then there's almost no coming back. This is what the enemy wants. This is why they've flooded the internet with pornography, and once neurotypical women got widespread access to the internet that was just a bonus to the sexual deviancy of the whole situation. Of course, there are other ways they try to stop autistic people, but they are all interrelated, for example: You understand what's going on and you resist it - great, but now you're alone, and you're depressed. You selfkill. Alternatively, you understand what's going on, but you embrace it (like most transgender men). It doesn't make you any happier and now you can't reproduce. You selfkill. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation that needs awareness to condition more autistic men into being mentally stout and resistant to this nonsense.

This saddens me but that's another difference. Imagine telling someone in 2005 that transgenderism is now the norm, we welcome illegal immigrants into our country, and that men give thousands of dollars to women just to have pictures of them on crap like OnlyFans. You can say that there's always been something like that all this time, but what and where? I just don't see it, and I've done a lot of research on the 2000's and before because I truly do miss when none of this was a thought on our minds.
