Just Use PCLinuxOS.. Again

I like openSUSE, but there's a few things that have made me question it lately:

• They are moving away from YaST, the best thing about openSUSE IMHO, for an objectively inferior product called Agama.
• They show no commitment to init diversity that others such as Debian have.
• I was told "Why would anyone want to try" the sysvinit package, as if its a stupid idea.
• openSUSE couldn't find board members because they banned anyone right of center from participating.
• It seems rather difficult to propose packages for openSUSE.

For these reasons, I think I am shifting my focus from openSUSE to PCLinuxOS. My servers will likely run something like Devuan, without elogind, since they share the same package manager (even if the format itself is different, RPM and DEB). PCLinuxOS has huge potential and I've contributed to it before so why not carve out my place in using and helping to improve PCLinuxOS? I have helped bump various packages, such as Luanti, and built my own, such as zramen. If you haven't tried PCLinuxOS, seriously give it a try, it is the only elogind-free distro that anyone can use and not have a headache. It actually reminds me a lot of my early days of Linux on Mint, because they have a lot of the same design beliefs. While PCLinuxOS may not be a server distro, it is certainly a good desktop one.
